DJ Liam
I might be a seventeen-year-old junior at Warwick High School, but don’t let my age fool you! I’ve already got five years of DJing experience and hundreds of gigs under my belt.
I’ve always been a music lover—you’ll most often find me rocking out—but what I love about DJing is finding those songs that fill the dance floor from beat one. There’s nothing better than watching happy faces on a crowded dance floor and knowing I’m a part of creating all that joy and fun.
When I’m not spinning records or studying at school, you can find me pursuing my other interests: computer programming, quiz bowls, and chess club. I’m also working toward my Eagle Scout, and during summers I work as a camp counselor at Bashore Scout Reservation.
Staff, aka the Family
No man is an island, and I’m proud to have the best possible team supporting me—my family.
In all the years I’ve DJed, we’ve tackled every job together…as a team.
Owen Blevins, aka Jack-Of-All-Trades
Owen is Liam’s dad, but he’s so much more! Owen attends all of Liam’s gigs, serving as everything from chauffeur and roadie to business manager and promoter. Perhaps most importantly, he’s also Liam’s number one fan. Owen can often be seen handling the mike work at every DJ Liam gig.
Owen grew up in the era of vinyl and has always enjoyed spinning records for friends, though he’s never DJed professionally. His music taste is eclectic, but he leans toward 70s and 80s disco and funk, as well as high-energy dance music.
Owen takes great pride knowing every penny his son earns goes toward Liam’s college fund, and he loves watching Liam hone his business acumen and learn to manage his time and clients. Outside of assisting with his son’s DJ business, Owen runs his own marketing and consulting company.
Molly Blevins, aka Fashion Consultant
Molly is Liam’s mom and another integral part of the DJ Liam team.
She is always willing to set up and tear down equipment and gear at any gig, and she’s there to ensure DJ Liam’s attire is impeccable. She particularly enjoys helping out at the school dances where Liam DJs.
Molly is a big fan of 70s and 80s rock, and you’ll most often see her dancing the night away at the side of any DJ Liam gig.
Amelia Blevins, aka Photo Booth Queen
Amelia is Liam’s youngest sister, a freshman at Warwick High School, and the newest addition to the DJ Liam team. A lover of the arts,
Amelia is highly involved in both the music and drama program at Warwick, and along with her bright smile and great attitude, she brings a love of all things music.
Amelia most often works the photo booth at her brother’s gigs, where she jokes with the guests, helps with props, and generally ensures everyone is having a great time.
